For over a year Patricia Aldridge volunteered to give art classes
to the female inmates of the Central East Detention Center in
Lindsay Ontario. The rare watercolour and marker paintings done
by Patricia during these classes show how her sense of humour
and vision of hope helped the women and girls inside.
"When a person presents art to someone who never considered it
they are touched and so am I - a door really opens and there is another way."
